Nervous but Ready: I’m Finally Trying Meal Prep

Hello, everyone! Just a short post again this week.

It wasn’t the busiest of weeks for me — our boss was away in Indonesia for an official trip. Even so, the backlogs piled up, and I found myself staying late at the office more than once to catch up.
But enough about work! I have something exciting to share: I’m embarking on a brand-new journey this weekend — meal prepping!

My number one reason? To save money. 😅 The idea actually came from a co-worker of mine who introduced me to it, and I was instantly intrigued. I told her right away that I wanted to give it a try too!

On Friday evening, my boyfriend and I headed to the grocery store to get everything I’d need. I confessed to him that I was feeling nervous. What if I fail? But then I remembered what my co-worker had told me: don’t pressure yourself — it’s your first time, and a perfect outcome isn’t the goal. My boyfriend completely agreed, and even sweetly offered to help me cook. I appreciated it, but I turned him down. I want to do this on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can.

That’s all for now — stay tuned for next week’s update on how my very first meal prep session goes! 😂 Wish me luck!

Reflection of the Week

This week reminded me that the smallest conversations can lead you somewhere new. A simple chat with my co-worker, and suddenly I’m standing in a grocery store on a Friday night, nervous but excited about meal prepping. 😂 I guess that’s how it goes sometimes — one little nudge and you’re off on a new adventure. Here’s to trying new things!
